Consumer Disclosures
Last updated: placeholder — to be finalized before public launch
What iBoost is
iBoost is a credit-building subscription service. When you make your monthly payment on time, we report that on-time payment to a consumer credit reporting agency (Equifax in Canada). On-time payment history is a major component of your credit score, and consistent on-time reporting over time is designed to help you build or rebuild your credit profile.
What iBoost is not
iBoost is not a lender and does not extend credit, issue loans, or provide a line of credit. iBoost is not a credit repair organization under applicable Canadian provincial laws; we do not promise to remove accurate information from your credit file. iBoost is not a registered financial advisor, investment dealer, tax advisor, or legal advisor, and we do not provide individualized financial, tax, or legal advice. Any education content on the site is for general informational purposes only.
Credit score results will vary
Credit score outcomes depend on many factors outside iBoost's control, including your full credit history, existing debts, other reported accounts, and future behaviour. While consistent on-time payments are widely recognized as improving credit scores over time, iBoost cannot guarantee any specific score increase, approval for future credit products, or favourable interest rates. Late payments made to iBoost will be reported to the bureaus and may negatively affect your score.
Fees and billing
iBoost is billed monthly. Current pricing, billing terms, refund policy, and cancellation rights are described in our Terms of Service. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
Data and privacy
We collect and process personal information (including identity and financial data) to provide the service and to report to credit bureaus. Full details are in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal information. Your data is protected in transit by bank-level (256-bit) TLS encryption and at rest by our infrastructure providers' encryption-at-rest standards.
Canadian consumers
iBoost services available in Canada are offered in accordance with applicable federal and provincial consumer-protection laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25). Credit reporting in Canada is governed by provincial credit reporting acts, under which you have the right to dispute inaccurate information on your credit report directly with the credit reporting agency at no cost.
